A PunchOut catalog, more commonly referred to as a PunchOut website, is a standard ecommerce website with the ability to talk directly with a procurement system through cXML.
What is an eProcurement system?
An eProcurement system or platform is a procurement application that businesses use to facilitate and streamline the electronic purchasing process. It helps procurement administrators within a buying organization by promoting spend management and contract compliance.
What is EqualLevel? What is EqualLevel GO PunchOut?
EqualLevel is an eProcurement platform provider that offers buying organizations the ability to streamline the shop-to-pay and reporting processes between cooperative purchasing organizations, their members, and suppliers.
EqualLevel GO PunchOut is our supplier-managed platform that has the ability to connect to EqualLevel Marketplace among many other eProcurement systems.
Which types of eProcurement systems can GO PunchOut connect to?
The EqualLevel GO PunchOut can connect to any eProcurement system that supports cXML standards. Many of the popular systems include SAP, Ariba, Oracle and Workday. The GO PunchOut also has the ability to connect to multiple and varying eProcurement systems at once.
Is the EqualLevel GO PunchOut integrable with my website?
The EqualLevel GO PunchOut is a standalone site that is not integrable with an organization’s public website. Available are content transfer protocols that allow PunchOut administrators to sync data from external sources directly to the GO PunchOut.
How long does it take to setup a PunchOut?
Normal lead time for setup is between 5-10 business days but can fluctuate based on the organization’s willingness and readiness to get started.
Why do I care about having a PunchOut?

Enter “Disabled”for item to remain disabled after import. Default is set to”Enabled”if left blank.
Supplier Part Number
Part number used by the supplier to identify the item. May be different than the Manufacturer Part Number. Must be a unique number for each item.
Name
Short Description to appear in search results and in purchase orders.
Description
Long Description to appear on product details page. May use Short Description if supplier only has one product description.
UNSPSC
Standard classification code that best describes the item. If UNSPSC is not available at the item level, assign a Segment or Family code that most applies to the item. Requirement depends on buyer.
NIGP
Standard classification code that best describes the item.Requirement depends on buyer.
Price
Do not include a dollar sign ($), commas, or other punctuation, other than a decimal place separator.
UOM
Unit of Measure codes (BX, DZ, EA, etc.). ISO standard preferred. Prices should be in reference to 1 UOM. Shoppers will order in quantities of this UOM.
UOM Quantity
The number of units included in the UOM. (eg. a UOM of BX and a UOM Quantity of 100 indicates 100 units per box. The default value is 1.Only enter if value is greater than or equal to 2.
Minimum Order Quantity
The minimum quantity of the UOM allowed to be ordered. The default value is 1. Only enter if value is greater than or equal to 2.
Maximum Order Quantity
The maximum quantity of the UOM allowed to be ordered. Value must be greater than the Minimum Order Quantity.
Order In Multiples Of
The incremental ordering quantity of the UOM (eg. a value of 5 would require the user to order 5, 10, 15, etc of the UOM). The default value is 1. Only enter if value is greater than or equal to 2.
Lead Time
Number of days from receipt of order to shipment. Enter a single value of days, not a range.
Supplier Part Auxiliary ID
Additional number that can be used to uniquely identify the item, or an aspect of the item.
Manufacturer
Name of the item manufacturer, which may be different than the name of the supplier.
Manufacturer Part Number
Part number used by the manufacturer to uniquely identify the item.
Categories
Product categories used for navigation. Use “=>” for subcategories after parent category name (eg. Office Supplies=>Paper).Separate multiple categories by commas.
Keywords
Additional terms used to match the item in searches. Keywords will not be displayed to shoppers. Separate keywords by commas.
Image URL
Fully qualified URL link to an image file (not the containing page) on the supplier’s site. This image will be displayed in search results and on the item’s detail page.
Specifications URL
Fully qualified URL link to a specification file, typically a PDF, on the supplier’s site. A link to view/download this file will be displayed on the item’s detail page.
MSDS URL
Fully qualified URL link to an MSDS file, typically a PDF, on the supplier’s site. A link to view/download the MSDS file will be displayed on the item’s detail page.
